A solid perfume-making workshop.

Spend a day (six hours) with an intimate group in the atelier exploring and learning about the ancient art of natural perfume. This course is designed for a hands-on experience, and you will leave with your own solid perfume, as well as with the class worksheets.

The group is limited to eight participants and will be led by certified natural perfumers Stacey Moore of Flore Botanical Alchemy & Karen of K VAN DYCK parfum of The Stillroom.

This is an introductory course designed to familiarize you with the art of perfume and inform you of the processes and materials used. The morning will include a short history of perfume, as well as anecdotal information on each of the essences introduced. All participants will access a curated perfume "organ", and be guided in working with their chosen base, heart and top chords to create a unique perfume. In the afternoon portion of the workshop, a recipe for making a solid perfume will be provided, and the perfumers will guide you through each step to complete your perfume.

It is a great way to gain an understanding of this exotic artform, and a unique opportunity to smell essences from around the world.
